The students of Hillsides Education Center present their creative artwork. Pieces range from paintings, self portraits, sculpture and 3D models.
Las Candelas organized a special car show event for the students of Hillsides Education Center. Students got the chance to view old fashioned cars and even sit in the driver's seat!

For graduates at Hillsides Education Center, graduation is a moment to reflect on the previous years of challenges and accomplishments, while looking toward a future that can be bright, filled with hope, and success.
(PASADENA, CA) – While visiting Hillsides Education Center, a special education school in Pasadena, Kendall and Suzana Roclord believed it would be inspiring and exciting if students could be exposed to a steady stream of people who are creative in various fields. pizZazZ at Hillsides was born. A program designed to introduce students to new visiting artists, pizZazZ was launched in December featuring Cartoonist Cathy Guisewite, known for her comic strip "Cathy."
(PASADENA, CA)—For Jeremy Ramirez, a student who was unable to find a comfortable learning environment to achieve academic successes, Hillsides Education Center was the perfect fit. Over the course of two years, Ramirez delved into the vocational program at the special education school in Pasadena and worked on projects he enjoyed, which gave him, for the first time, the confidence to be successful in school.
