Extracurricular Activities
We provide numerous extracurricular opportunities to students including both academic and non-academic clubs, creative arts and student government to promote personal and social development. Participation in these diverse clubs and organizations provides students an opportunity to acquire leadership, planning, and social skills, as well as build lasting friendships, which are incredibly important to children in foster care. We also use exercise and play as an outlet for a student's emotions and stress. Indirectly, but just as important, students in our special education program gain an improved body image as well as build their confidence and self-esteem.
